Outfitting Your Conquest
The Argo Conquest is a great vehicle straight from the factory. However, it may not fit all of your needs in stock form. Fortunately, there are a whole range of accessories you can add to get more out of your vehicle.
Weather and Rollover Protection
A ROPS doesn’t just protect your vehicle in a rollover. It also provides mounting points for weather protection accessories. The rollover protection system comes standard on some models, and can be added to any Conquest. Argo makes versions that protect the entire cab, or just the front seats.
The folding windshield is self-supporting. It can’t be used with a front cargo rack. There’s also a fixed windshield that attaches to the ROPS. Both windshields can be used with a windshield wiper.
The convertible top adds a roof and side curtains. It’s mostly self-supporting, but it requires a windshield. It isn’t compatible with a ROPS. If you do have rollover protection, you can add a hard roof and canvas sides. These are available for both two person and four person ROPS. If you need protection with maximum visibility, you can get a clear view hard roof that fits the two person ROPS.
Tracks
Tracks increase the size of the contact patch, decreasing ground pressure. This lets your XTV float over the softest ground. Axle extensions are required to fit tracks to your Conquest. Rubber offers good all-around performance, while heavy-duty tracks are harder wearing.
Front End Accessories
A brushguard deflects branches away from the front end, protecting the paint and the lights. The Warn VRX45-S winch is rated to pull up to 4,500 lbs. Some models include a brushguard and winch from the factory, but these can be added to any Conquest.
The snow plow has an 81 inch-wide blade. It’s designed to be mounted and unmounted in 5 minutes. The plow requires a winch, which is used to raise and lower the blade.
Cargo
Going on a long excursion? The gas can and spare tire holders bolt to the back of your Argo, freeing up space for more cargo. Front and rear racks give you places to tie down more gear. Each rack supports up to 50 lbs. The rear rack isn’t compatible with the gas can or spare tire holders.
Need to reach remote areas? The helicopter lift kit adds heavy-duty D-rings to your Conquest, allowing it to be air lifted. The mudflap/catwalk kit adds rails to the sides of your amphibious ATV. This shields people and cargo from water and mud flung up from the tires. It also lets passengers move between the front to the back of the vehicle without stepping out onto the ground.
